Autobound’s Advanced Filter Builder gives you full control to create powerful, multi-condition filters across your prospect data—without writing any syntax.

Whether you're looking to isolate prospects in a specific industry, role, or engagement status, the Filter Builder lets you create complex logic using a clean visual interface.

Note: Filters are only available on data columns. To filter on action or export results, map the field to a data column first.

🛠 Launching the Filter Builder

To open the builder:

  1. Navigate to the Prospects tab in your campaign.

  2. Click the Filter icon (or Builder button) located just above the prospect table.

This opens a dedicated filter panel where you can build and manage your filters.

⚙ How the Filter Builder Works

The filter builder displays your conditions as a structured hierarchy. You can use dropdown menus and input fields to configure each condition.

Here’s what you can do:

  • Set logic groups: Choose between AND / OR to combine filter rules.

  • Choose a field: Click the column name pill to select any available data field (e.g., title, industry, company size).

  • Select an operator: Choose how you want to filter (e.g., contains, equals, starts with).

  • Enter a value: Type in the specific value you're targeting.

Each condition is editable. You can:

  • Click on dropdown pills to change logic, fields, or operators

  • Click on value pills to change the target value

  • Use drag handles to reorder filter conditions or groups

  • Use Add or Remove buttons to manage filter lines

✅ Applying the Filter

Once your filter is complete:

  • Click Apply to activate it

  • The prospect table will immediately update to reflect matching rows

You can revisit the builder at any time to adjust or remove your filter.

Common Use Cases

  • Show only prospects in the Healthcare industry with a Director title

  • Find companies with more than 200 employees

  • Filter for contacts added in the last 30 days

  • Combine multiple conditions using nested groups

FAQ

Q: Why can't I find my column in the filter builder?
A: Filtering is only supported for data columns. Action and export fields cannot be used unless mapped to a data column.

Q: Will filters apply to exports or automated actions?
A: Yes. Filters control which rows are visible and therefore which prospects are included in downstream actions like content generation and exports.
