Prospect Import & Data Sources: Importing via Google Sheets

This guide will walk you through using Google Sheets as a synced import source to continuously bring contacts into your AI Studio campaigns.

Before You Begin: Connecting Your Google Account

Before importing from Google Sheets, ensure your Google account is integrated with Autobound via Settings > Integrations.

Accessing Google Sheets Import Options

Once your Google account is integrated, you can import from Google Sheets directly into your campaigns:

  1. Navigate to your desired campaign within AI Studio.

  2. Click the "Actions" icon.

  3. From the dropdown, select "Add Contacts."

  4. Choose "Other Options."

  5. Select "Import from Google Sheets."

Configuring Your Google Sheets Import

After selecting "Import from Google Sheets," a setup modal will appear to guide you:

  1. Give this import a name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Webinar Registrants," "Target Accounts - Q3").

  2. Select account: Choose the Google account containing the sheet.

  3. Select source (Select Workbook): Choose the desired Google Workbook. Ensure it has at least one header and one data row.

  4. Select Worksheet: Select the specific worksheet with your contact data.

  5. Field mappings: Map your Google Sheet columns to the correspondent Autobound prospect fields.


Setting Up Continuous Imports

AI Studio offers the capability to continuously import new contacts from your Google Sheets as they are added or updated.

  1. Toggle Continuous Import: Locate and toggle the option: "Continuously import new contacts from this Google Sheet when they are saved to this list."

    • (Note: "to this list" refers to the specific worksheet you've selected.)

  2. Choose Import Frequency: Toggle this to On for continuous syncing, or Off for a one-time import.

  3. Save Your Import: Click "Save" to finalize your import setup.
