Controlling Action Execution

Within AI Studio, you have precise control over how actions are processed for each prospect. Beyond automated workflows, you can manually trigger new actions or rerun previously completed ones directly from the Prospects tab.

Accessing the Prospects Tab

All manual triggering and rerunning of actions occurs within the "Prospects" tab of your campaign, where you manage your contacts and observe their cell states.

  1. Navigate to your desired campaign.

  2. Select the "Prospects" tab.

Triggering Manual Actions

For specific steps or when auto-run is disabled, you can manually trigger an action:

  • "Click to Run" Button: Certain cells will display a "Click to Run" button.

  • Purpose: This button requires your manual interaction to start the associated action. It's useful when you prefer manual processing for specific steps or when auto-run is off.

  • Execution: Clicking this button immediately triggers the configured action (e.g., generating content or initiating an export) without reloading the page.

Rerunning Completed Actions

You can also reprocess actions that have already been run for a prospect:

  • "Run Again" Button: When you hover over an action cell that has already been completed, the cell will highlight and display a "Run Again" button.

    • Reprocessing: Clicking this button immediately reprocesses the action. This could involve regenerating content or retrying an export.

    • Inputs: The action will use the same inputs as before, unless you've made edits to the cell.

    • Downstream Effects: Downstream export steps will also attempt to run again, unless those steps are specifically set to manual (Co-Pilot) rather than auto-pilot.

Automated Reruns (Contextual)

It's also important to note that certain downstream actions, such as insight generation, content creation, or exports, are designed to automatically re-run if their auto-run setting is enabled. This capability works in conjunction with manual triggers and reruns to give you full control over your workflow.
