This guide explains how Autobound automatically maps and pushes personalized content into Instantly campaigns via custom fields.

Integrating Instantly for Exports

To enable the export of generated content from Autobound directly into your Instantly campaigns, your Instantly integration must be properly set up. This is typically configured in the Settings > Integrations section of your Autobound account, which establishes the connection for seamless data flow.

Part 1: Configure Your Export in Autobound

Once you have your contacts in Autobound and content generated for your multi-step campaign, you'll set up the export to Instantly.

  1. Initiate Export Configuration:

    • To configure an export in Autobound, navigate to the Action tab (top right corner) and select Export or Send, or go to Settings > Export or Send > Add/New Export/Send Options.

  2. Select Instantly as Your Export Destination:

    • Choose "Export to Instantly."

    • Select your connected Instantly account.
      ​

  3. Choose the specific Instantly campaign you want to push content to.
    ​

  4. Map Required Fields:
    ​

    • Autobound should automatically map your personalized content fields (like email body and subject).

    • However, you must ensure the following key fields are correctly mapped (map manually if they are not auto-mapped):

      • Email: Map Autobound's Email field to Instantly's Email field.

      • First Name: Map Autobound's First Name field to Instantly's First Name field. This is important for personalization within Instantly and for any non-Autobound steps in your campaign.

    • Confirm Content Fields: Double-check that your generated content fields (e.g., "Email 1 Body," "Email 2 Body," "Subject") are correctly mapped to their corresponding variables in Instantly.

  5. Save Your Export Configuration:

    • After verifying all mappings, hit Save.
      ​

  6. Push Content to Instantly:

    • Once the export configuration is saved, you can push the generated content from Autobound directly into your designated Instantly campaign.

Part 2: Set Up Your Campaign Variables in Instantly

After configuring the export in Autobound, you need to ensure your Instantly campaign templates are set up to receive and display the pushed content using the correct variables.

  1. Access Your Instantly Campaign:

    • Log in to your Instantly account.

    • Navigate to the specific campaign you linked in Autobound.

  2. Configure Sequence Variables:

    • Go to the Sequences section within your Instantly campaign.

    • For each email step, ensure you're using the correct Instantly variables that correspond to the content Autobound pushes. For example:

      • For the Subject Line: Use {{autobound_email1_subject}}

      • For the Email Body (Step 1): Use {{autobound_email_1_body}}

      • For subsequent steps (e.g., replies, follow-ups): Use corresponding variables like {{autobound_email_2_body}} or {{autobound_email_3_body}}.

    • Make sure these variables are inserted into your Instantly email templates where you want the personalized content to appear.

  3. Save Your Instantly Campaign/Sequence:

    • Save any changes made to your Instantly campaign or sequence templates.

Automated Exports

Once fully configured, content can be automatically exported from Autobound to your Instantly campaigns. This streamlined process ensures personalized content reaches your prospects efficiently, automating your outbound efforts.
