Understanding Sequencing Mode

Sequencing Mode in Autobound allows you to orchestrate multi-step email outreach, automating the progression of your prospects through a series of predefined email actions. This enables a dynamic workflow of multiple email touchpoints, executed over time based on your campaign's schedule.

Activating Sequencing for Your Channels

While the exact steps to enable sequencing might be integrated into your campaign setup or export configuration, the core principle involves designating your chosen email sending platforms (Gmail, Outlook) for multi-step automated sending, as Sequencing Mode currently supports only email steps.

  • Configuring Export Steps: When setting up an export action for email platforms like Gmail or Outlook, you'll find options to enable sequencing. This transforms a single send action into a multi-step workflow where subsequent email actions are scheduled.

  • Campaign Settings: The overarching schedule and logic for sequence steps are configured within your campaign settings. This determines when and how future email steps execute.

What Sequencing Mode Enables

Activating Sequencing Mode unlocks several powerful capabilities for your campaigns:

  • Automated Multi-Step Email Outreach: Once a sequence is active for a prospect, future email steps execute automatically based on the schedule you've configured in your campaign settings. This removes the need for manual intervention for each subsequent email touchpoint.

  • Scheduled Sending: For email-based sequences (e.g., via Gmail or Outlook), the system actively manages the sending schedule. The Prospects tab will display indicators like "Next email sending in [time]," showing when the next message is due.

  • Integrated Content Flow: Personalized content generated by Autobound for each email step in your sequence is seamlessly pushed to the chosen email sending platform (Gmail, Outlook) at the appropriate time.

  • Management & Control: Even within an active sequence, you retain control over individual prospects.

    • You can see the scheduled next steps, showing when the next email is due.

    • You can cancel following steps for a prospect if you wish to stop their progression through the sequence without fully removing them.

    • To manually remove a prospect from a sequence, navigate to the Prospects tab within your campaign. Locate the prospect, and select the option to 'Remove from sequence' from their action menu or status indicator. This will cease all further automated processing for that contact within the sequence.
