Autobound lets you send personalized emails straight from your connected Gmail or Outlook account. Sending is managed as an Action column inside your campaign, so it fits naturally into your workflow and updates automatically when content changes.
1. Connect Gmail or Outlook
Go to Settings > Integrations in Autobound.
Choose Gmail or Outlook and follow the prompts to authenticate your account.
2. Customize Email Settings
Once you’ve authenticated, click into your connection and select the settings icon to set up your email signature, unsubscribe link, and BCC address (if you’d like to log activities in your CRM).
For example, HubSpot and Salesforce let you add a BCC address so all sent emails are logged automatically.
These settings will apply to all emails sent through Autobound.
3. Add a “Send with Gmail” or “Send with Outlook” Column
Click Add Column → Send with Gmail/Outlook.
This creates a new send action in your table. It behaves like any other action column—auto-run can be toggled, run conditions can be set, and it follows normal dependency chaining.
4. Map the Contact Email Column
At the top of the configuration drawer, select the column that contains your contact’s email addresses. This tells Autobound where to send each message.
5. Select Sender Mode
Choose whether to send from a fixed account (one connected inbox) or from the logged-in user if multiple team members are using the campaign.
6. Map Subject and Body from a Content Action
In the Configure Emails section, map your subject and body fields to the outputs from your Content Generation column (for example, “Step 1 Email Subject” and “Step 1 Email Body”).
Use / in the field to look up available columns.
This ensures your send step pulls the personalized text created by your content action instead of blank placeholders.
7. Add Follow-ups (Optional)
Click + Add Follow-up Email to create additional steps.
You can:
Choose between New Thread or Reply
Set send delays (for example, 2 days after previous email)
9. Save and Run
When configuration is complete, click Save.
Each prospect row will display real-time status updates—Waiting, Running, Success, or Error.
If you later edit your content step or change the mapped fields, you’ll see a warning to review and re-save the send setup.
9. Manage and Monitor
Emails are sent directly from your inbox with all personalization and signatures intact.
You can pause, rerun, or edit the column at any time. Run conditions and auto-run settings help control when credits are used and when each message sends.
Sending with Gmail or Outlook inside Autobound keeps generation, personalization, and delivery in one streamlined flow.
