Export Run Conditions enable you to precisely control when your campaign exports run based on your data and specific rules. This ensures you're only exporting relevant contacts, saving time, optimizing resources, and preventing unnecessary actions.
What are Export Run Conditions?
Export Run Conditions let you define specific criteria using your campaign data to determine if an export should execute. When conditions aren't met, the export action automatically skips the corresponding rows, clearly indicated within your campaign.
Example: If your campaign is designed to send 20,000 emails daily but only to prospects who meet specific criteria (e.g., company size greater than 100 employees and a valid LinkedIn URL), you can use Export Run Conditions to enforce these rules.
Benefits:
Avoid unnecessary exports, improving campaign accuracy.
Ensure your daily email targets are reached effectively.
Automate complex decision-making scenarios based on real-time data.
Setting Up Run Conditions:
Access Column Settings: Click the Export column header to open the "Settings" tab.
Enable Run Conditions: Scroll to the bottom of the Settings tab and toggle on the "Run Conditions" section.
Create Your Condition:
Click the formula builder or select "Write formula with AI."
Use
/
to insert available data columns (hidden or visible).
Example: You might set a condition like /Company Size > 100 and /LinkedIn URL is not empty
to ensure only qualified leads with essential contact information are exported.
Using AI-Assisted Condition Builder:
Enable "Run Conditions" and select "Write formula with AI."
Describe your export condition in plain language, e.g., "Only run export if prospect name and company size are available."
Click "Generate Formula" to automatically generate a CEL (Common Expression Language) condition.
Example: Input "export only if job title contains 'Director' or higher," and the system generates an accurate condition to reflect your criteria.
Formula Validation:
The system validates all formulas to ensure they return boolean (true/false) values and uses valid syntax.
Errors must be corrected before saving.
Understanding Export Skips:
If a row doesn’t meet the set conditions, the export cell will display "Condition Not Met."
Hovering over "Condition Not Met" provides a tooltip explaining: "Condition Not Met. Update formula if you think this is a mistake."
Example: If a prospect lacks a required LinkedIn URL, you'll see "Condition Not Met," helping you quickly identify incomplete data.
Manual Rerun:
Hover over the cell and click the ▶️ (Run button) to manually attempt the export again.
If conditions remain unmet, the cell will continue showing "Condition Not Met."
Auto-Run Settings:
Auto-Run Enabled: The system automatically attempts re-execution when upstream data changes.
Auto-Run Disabled: Manual intervention is required to trigger the export again.
Example: If Auto-Run is enabled and a missing LinkedIn URL is later added, the system automatically exports the prospect without additional manual effort.
With Autobound's Export Run Conditions, you streamline your exports by setting precise rules, ensuring each contact meets critical criteria. This enhances productivity, accuracy, and campaign effectiveness.
