Once you’ve imported contacts or companies into a table, you can map data from your import source—whether it’s from a signal, CSV, or Google Sheet—to Autobound’s AI input columns at any time. This is especially useful if some fields weren’t mapped during the initial import.

1. Accessing Source Data for Mapping

  1. Open your table in Autobound after the import is complete.

  2. Locate the Source column in your table.

  3. Click the icon in the Source column for the record you want to edit.

  4. This will open a panel displaying all metadata associated with that record.

2. Adding Data as a New or Existing Column

  1. Hover over the piece of metadata you want to add.

  2. Click Add as Column.

3. Choose whether to:

  • Map to a new column (create a fresh column in your table)

  • Map to an existing column (append or link the data to a column that already exists)

3. Example: Mapping Meeting Notes

Let’s say your CSV includes meeting notes you want to make available for AI context:

  1. Hover over the meeting notes metadata in the Source panel.

  2. Click Add as New Column.

3. Unhide the Additional Context column at the top of your table (many default columns, including Additional Context, are created automatically but may be hidden).

4. This allows the AI to incorporate your meeting notes into personalized messaging.

4. Editing and Referencing the Data in Formulas

  1. Click the three dots in the column header to edit column settings.

  2. Use the Formula Builder to create a reference to the meeting notes column within the Additional Context column.

  3. This ensures the AI will automatically pull relevant notes when generating content.

Tip: You can repeat this process for any metadata in your import source—making it easy to unlock extra data for personalization without re-importing.
