Autobound’s CSV import wizard lets anyone import contacts into Autobound.

Setup
Go to Settings → CSV Import
Click Import CSV at the top-right of the screen
Map your contact data to the respective CSV columns by using our guided editor
Press import
Once complete, users should see a list of contacts on the Persona or Contact Suggestion Rules pages (example below)
For Hubspot, Groove, Pipedrive, or Copper CRM users
Include the contact URL in your import. Doing so enables:
Within the Autobound web app, a small icon will appear next to each contact’s name, enabling users to instantly navigate to that record in your CRM
Soon, Autobound’s Chrome Extension will dynamically load insights and suggested content alongside a prospect’s record, when you open that record in your CRM
Duplicates
Autobound won't import duplicate records if they share the same email. Records that share an email will be updated with new values provided by the CSV import. If columns are left blank, the record won't receive any updates for that field.
For teams also using Salesforce, Autobound will prioritize the Salesforce record if there is a record imported from both Salesforce and CSV.
For teams
If you’re working from an organization with other users, you should ensure that you’re not importing the same contacts for different users. There are a few reasons for this
If user A imports a CSV, only user A will be suggested contacts that they uploaded
If user A imports a CSV, and emails a prospect, then user B imports a CSV including that same prospect, Autobound won’t take users A’s email into consideration
Adding a BCC address
Most CRMs allow users to log emails and associate them to a contact record by adding a BCC address to outgoing emails. Check your CRM’s help documentation on how to find the BCC address.
Log into Autobound → go to General Settings
Add a recipient, and paste your BCC address
Click save changes
Adding a BCC address isn’t needed for Salesforce users, and will actually cause duplicate tasks to be created.
