Overview

Sales assets in Autobound are versatile tools that provide additional context and information to enhance your outreach efforts. Initially created during onboarding based on a website scan, sales assets can include product descriptions, case studies, white papers, event information, promotions, and even custom information for target accounts.

These assets play a crucial role in helping Autobound's AI understand your offerings and generate more relevant, personalized content for your prospects.

Automatic Generation During Onboarding

When you first sign up for Autobound, our system takes the following steps to set up your initial sales assets:

  1. We scan your website to identify your products and services.

  2. Our AI analyzes this information to determine the unique value propositions for each offering.

  3. These AI-generated product/service descriptions are added to your Content Hub as sales assets.

While this automated process focuses on your offerings, remember that sales assets are highly customizable and can include much more than just product information.

Types of Sales Assets

Sales assets can include a wide variety of content types:

  • Product/Service Descriptions

  • Case Studies

  • White Papers

  • Event Information

  • Promotions

  • Custom Information for Target Accounts

This flexibility allows you to store and leverage a wide range of valuable information within the Autobound system.

Creating and Editing Sales Assets

Accessing Sales Assets

To create or edit sales assets:

  1. Go to the Content Hub

  2. Navigate to the Sales Assets section

Creating a New Sales Asset

Creating a new sales asset is straightforward:

  1. Click on the option to create a new asset

  2. Choose your input method: a. Type content manually into the provided text box b. Upload a URL or file for Autobound to scrape and extract information

  3. If you choose to upload a file or URL, once scraping is complete, you can copy the extracted content and paste it into the text box on the sales asset page

  4. Edit the content as needed, removing any unnecessary information

Remember, more isn't always better when it comes to AI. It's best to provide only the information necessary for the AI to understand how to position the messaging effectively.

Important Note: Sales assets are shared across your team. Any edits or new assets you create will be reflected for all users in your organization.

Leveraging Sales Assets in Autobound

Sales assets play a key role in content generation:

  • Assets tagged as "Product/Service Description" are eligible for automatic selection by the AI during content generation, based on relevance to the prospect

  • You can manually select up to two sales assets during content generation, similar to value propositions and writing styles

  • The AI always automatically chooses one sales asset

Refreshing Your Sales Assets

If you need to update your sales asset list based on changes to your website, you can:

  1. Go to the Sales Assets section in the Content Hub

  2. Look for the option to rescan your website using AI

  3. This will regenerate your sales asset list based on the current content of your website

Best Practices

  1. Keep your sales assets concise and focused. Include only the most relevant information for each asset.

  2. Regularly review and update your sales assets to ensure they reflect your current offerings and messaging.

  3. Use a variety of asset types to provide a comprehensive resource for the AI to draw from.

  4. When creating custom assets for target accounts, focus on the most critical information that will help personalize your outreach.

  5. Tag your assets appropriately, especially marking product/service descriptions, to help the AI select them effectively.

  6. Remember that your edits affect your entire team, so communicate changes with your colleagues.
