What is a Campaign?
In Autobound AI Studio, a campaign is your workspace for running personalized outreach. You can add prospects, generate insights, create AI-written messages, and export everything into tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Instantly, Google Sheets, or CSV—or send emails directly through Gmail or Outlook if you’re running an all-email campaign. Learn more about import and export options.
Campaigns keep your research, writing, and sending organized in one place so you can scale quality outreach without the manual work.
🛠 Step 1: Creating a New Campaign
Start by initiating a new campaign to organize your outreach efforts.
Locate and click the "New Campaign" button within the AI Studio interface.
⚙ Step 2: Selecting a Campaign Template
After clicking "New Campaign," you'll choose a starting point for your outreach—like a blank setup, a hyper-personalized email, a multi-step cold sequence, or a list of top insights. Then, give your campaign a clear name to keep things organized.
To explore common strategies for each type, see our guide on Most Common Use Cases.
Name Your Campaign: Once your chosen campaign type loads, you can then give your campaign a clear and descriptive name. Locate the campaign name (At the top left corner of the campaign view) and click the pencil icon next to it to edit.
✅ Step 3: Navigating Your Campaign Tabs
Every campaign contains three main tabs: Prospects, Signals, and Settings.
Prospects Tab
Purpose: Manage who you’ll reach out to and how you want to interact with them.
Key Functionality:
Import Prospects – Import a list of prospects you want to enrich or generate content for.
Configure Actions – Set up the type of actions you want to take (enrich, generate messaging, fetch insights, or other actions).
Export – Send your results to your system of choice, whether it’s your CRM or another tool for delivery.
You can manage imports, set up the types of actions to take, and export to your chosen destination all from the Prospects tab.
Signals Tab
Purpose: Automate how new prospects are discovered and added based on real-time buying signals.
Key Functionality:
• Set Up Signal Triggers: Choose from 150+ live signals, such as recent job changes, new job openings, company growth, funding, or product launches.
• Define Your Audience: Filter which companies or contacts are eligible to be imported when a signal fires.
• Control Volume: Configure how many signals to process and how many contacts to suggest or import per day.
• View Metadata: Review signal details showing why a contact or company was surfaced.
Once configured, Autobound will automatically add qualified contacts into your campaign table — ready for enrichment, personalization, and outreach.
For detailed setup, see Using the Signal Engine.
Settings Tab
Purpose:
This tab consolidates controls for your campaign, allowing you to manage data sources, configure how your content is exported or sent, and set the schedule for your outreach.
Key Functionality:
Import Tab: Manage settings related to importing prospects. This includes options to add new sources and set up automated sync to easily get contacts into this campaign from external applications.
Export or Send Tab: Configure automated sending or export options for insights, content, or both.
Sending Preferences (Sequence Schedule): These settings control precisely when emails in this sequence are sent. You'll be able to customize send days, times, and other scheduling parameters to optimize delivery.
